GIN TONIC

The name GIN TONIC comes from the drinks GIN and TONIC, a mixed drink originally from England, which was the drink of choice in British colonial India. Initially, TONIC Water, which contains quinine, was drunk to protect from malaria. As the Indian TONIC was very bitter in those days, GIN was added to improve the taste.

A lifestyle evolved during this time, which developed in a relaxed social environment as well as at numerous sporting activities. The combination of a relaxed way of life and sporting activities, practiced mostly in country clubs, provides today’s foundation for the casual sportswear collections by GIN TONIC.

The GIN TONIC brand stands for sporty, comfortable sportswear for men and women from a vertically operating, retail-driven company.
We currently work with 10–12 monthly ranges, which are offered on 10 sales dates for the ladies, and can be ordered on 6 order dates for the men.
As well as the pre-orders, our retail partners have the benefit of N.O.S. (never-out-of-stock) and L.O.S. (limited-on-stock) ranges.

As it will become more and more important in the future for specialist retailers and end consumers to know what a brand stands for, where it comes from and whether it has an authentic history, GIN TONIC will be going back to its roots:

GIN TONIC is and has always been a sportswear collection. In the future, we will be concentrating once again on the sporty message and the history of our name.
The development of the collection will be based on sports associated with England and India and which are popular sports in these countries.
