Powerful brands, premium positioning

Only well positioned brands will enjoy visibility in the market. For this purpose, it is necessary that the Ahlers brands not only offer high product quality but also launch consistent and strong collections that make a clear product statement and have a unique personality.

Growth through shop-in-shop formats and own retail concepts

Ahlers AG’s brands are increasingly sold through shop-in-shop concepts. A further verticalisation with own shops will make the brands even more unique and broaden the company’s sales base.

Internationalisation

International expansion is essential for Ahlers’ continued growth. Efforts focus on further expanding sales in western Europe, realising the enormous potential in eastern European countries and building the sales and distribution networks in the Near and Middle East. Over the medium term Ahlers also intends to take its brands to the Asian and American markets.
Brand power, verticalisation and internationalisation define the strategy pursued by the Ahlers Group. Our premium brands and our international business account for 50 percent and 46 percent, respectively, of our total sales, and we aim to further increase these percentages. Ahlers operates 26 own stores, while another 117 stand-alone stores and 784 shop-in-shops are managed by partners (November 2009).
