Profile:
Ideally, candidates have earned a “Mittlere Reife” school-leaving certificate and attended a commercial college. Our future apprentices should have a good command of English as well as excellent communication skills. They should be able to work in a team and be very dedicated to the job. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) round off the profile.
Main task:
Support of the company processes from order acquisition to customer service. Fields of work: procurement, logistics, materials management, export, sales, controlling, accounting and human resources management.
Profile:
Ideally, candidates have earned a “(Fach-)Hochschulreife” certificate with good grades in mathematics, English and computer science (if taught at their school). They should have the ability to reason, plan and organise and enjoy to communicate (ability to work in a team / approach customers). The profile is rounded off by a pioneering spirit and open-mindedness, flexibility and mobility, the ability to independently acquire new skills and expertise, an interest in business and commercial activities, curiosity about and interest in computers as well as the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Main task:
System administration, technical and application support. Opportunity to actively support our users and contribute to hardware and software projects. Hands-on training.
EU Industrial Clerk
Profile:
Ideally, applicants have completed their school education with having attained general university entrance level. Good communication and team work abilities characterise our new trainees. Basic office work knowledge rounds off their profile.
Core Task:
Supporting business processes from order negotiation up to customer service;
Fields of work: procurement, logistics, materials management and control, sales, controlling, accounting, personnel management.
External economic relations will be a central field.
The training includes a six months stay abroad (probably in Ireland) and a certified final examination.

Profile:
You should convince us by presenting good or very good school leaving marks and by proving that you are interested in business management processes. As a team player with good or very good knowledge of the English language you are highly motivated and willing to work hard, to travel, provide services, very good at communication, negotiating and have a well-structured mode of working.
Core Task:
Internationally oriented, practice-related studies of economics with an optimum combination of work on the job and studies, thus linking theory and practice.
During the theoretical training phases at university you will acquire knowledge of economics while the practical periods at Ahlers AG will give you insights into all major economic activities like finance, controlling, personnel management, marketing and sales.
Your tasks include targeted international business development focussing on Europe;
increasing sales activities and turnover by attractive partner management and consultancy; finding and developing new national and international sales partners.
